WATERCOLOUR PAINTING
One-day Sunday workshops are held in the recently decorated Reid Hall in the village of Boreham Street. The classes are held in the spacious main room offering plenty of natural light which is ideal for art classes. There is plenty of parking at the hall and lunch can be taken the Bull's Head Pub or you can bring your own pack lunch. You can choose to either be a spectator of 'paint along' and follow the step-by-step demonstrations. Tables and chairs are provided and of course there is always plenty of water! If you are interested in joining the weekly classes then the Sunday workshops are the perfect place to start.

ONE DAY SUNDAY WORKSHOP
Watercolour - getting started, Part 1

A one day workshop designed to give you all the basic techniques required to start you in the wonderful world of watercolour. This friendly and open class is ideal for those's who have never tried or have a some knowledge in the medium. Some of the subjects covered include, - colour mixing, wet-in-wet, layering washes, lifting out and brush techniques.

Materials: You are welcome to bring your own but you must include at least the 3 colours listed in the starter pack. All materials required can also be purchased on the day, alternatively you can pre-order the starter pack which will include everything you need and will be waiting for you on the day.

Date & Time:​ Sunday 21st July 2024, 11.00am - 1.00pm - 1 hour lunch - 2.00pm - 4.00pm
Lunch (not included) Bring a pack lunch and eat at the hall or book your lunch at the Bull's Head (5 mins walk)

This class is ideal for those who have some experience in watercolour or have completed the 'Getting Started' part 1 course (see above). As well as learning various watercolour tips and tricks including colour mixing we will be completing step-by-step finished painting.

Materials: You are welcome to bring your own but you must include at least the 3 colours listed in the starter pack. All materials required can also be purchased on the day, alternatively you can pre-order the starter pack which will include everything you need and will be waiting for you on the day.

ONE DAY SUNDAY WORKSHOP
Christmas Creativities!
​
This workshop is all about getting festive with watercolour and with Christmas fast approaching the most thoughtful of gifts is a hand painted card or a watercolour painting. In the morning we will be painting a Christmas scene and in the afternoon we will be making a couple of cards, so bring along your watercolour paints and lets have fun!
​
PLEASE NOTE: This workshop is being held in a different hall to the other 2 workshops. The location is Bodle Street Green Village Hall, Victoria Road, East Sussex BN27 4UB

Please note: We are often oversubscribed so a first-come, first-served policy is adopted.

You can book by email to 4watercolourevents@gmail.com clearly stating the course you wish to attend. You will then be sent a confirmation email stating that you have a place reserved on your chosen course. You will then be asked to make payment and only then your place will be guaranteed.
